Blazing a trail into a new era For Audi, motorsport is about pushing back boundaries, rising to the challenge and breaking new ground, time and again. That’s why the recurring themes in each chapter of the Audi Sport story are not only competition, passion and team spirit but also invariably pioneering advances. There’s a thread that runs from the successes of the quattro models in the 1980s through triumphs in 24-hour endurance challenges and participation in all-electric Formula E racing all the way to the Saudi Arabian desert. The Gulf country hosted the Dakar Rally, which the Four Rings entered for the first time in January 2022, debuting a specially developed drive concept² for the Audi RS Q e-tron¹ that marks yet another evolutionary leap in electrifying motorsport.
